Pegasus, steel, 165 X 90 X 35 with wooden base, 2006Lazaros Spyrou was born in Florina in 1958. He was grown in Thessaloniki and he graduated from the Athens School of Fine Arts in 1985 (member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece).
His teachers in painting included K. Loustas, V. Vlahopoulos, and D.Mitaras while his teachers in sculpture were Th. Panourgias and D. Kalamaras.
Many of his works are exhibited in public places, museums and private collections.
He lives and works in Thessaloniki (Greece).
